I AM WORKING ON THE POWER-POINT NOW !
next i'm gonna work on a slideshow of all the pictures i took for my project! well actually the slideshow gonna be more a video cause i'm gonna try and add some music behind it! next week is thanksgiving and that means food! i'm going back up to VA for thanksgiving i'm going to help my grandma cook for thanksgiving i'm sure i can learn a few new things from her as well as maybe get some pictures and a video to upload to my blog!
my final recipe i'm thinking of doing is Country fried steak! a simple yet delicious meal. this will include my homemade mashed potatoes, with some green beans,
first things you need is 1 cup of flour salt and pepper cube steak one bag of golden potatoes , heavy whipping cream , 3 table spoons of butter one can of green beans 1. take the cube steak cover it in flour with some pepper and salt 2. place cubed steak in pan with some olive oil 3. boil potatoes until fork is easily pushed through the potatoes 4. pour green beans in a pot with a tablespoon of butter and let it warm up now we assemble to make the mashed potatoes you need to put them in a bowl put 1/4 a cup of heavy whipping cream and 2 table spoons of butter and use the mixer to mash it up. if its too thick add 1/4 a cup of heavy whipping cream until your liking if cubed steak is cooked to your liking put it on a plate and enjoy! i will add picture when i make this dish to make it easier for people to understand :) the thing i'm trying to make is a power-point/slide show of the pictures i take of all my food. i don't wanna just put the pictures in weebly cause that's just boring. so i wanna make it cool/fun when you see all my pictures! i might add some videos in the slide show as well! i love making silly videos so why not make one for school! (school appropriate of course) some other things i'm planning is when i cook i get my dad to give tips and help me as i cook! he was the one that taught me to cook; but i'm sure i can learn some more tips! next week ill add in another recipe.
this recipe is my own personal recipe that i made up over the summer. over the summer i cooked a lot of dishes and made many recipes that turned out very well even though i made it random on the spot.
first thing is take a pack of chicken breast (2 chicken breasts) take a knife and cut the chicken breasts into reasonable sizes of chicken you should be able to get at least 3 or 4 good sizes of chicken from the breasts. after this cutting i would take a bowl WITH A LID! pour some buttermilk, only a splash of pickle if you want it will bring in a sour kinda of pickle taste that really goes with the chicken, add salt and pepper with some cayenne and a little of "slap ya momma" after that put it in the fridge and let it rest for at least 2 hours to 4 hours after letting the chicken rest get two plates out one plate with 1 1/2 cup of flour and plenty of seasoning of your liking i would recommend "slap ya momma", cayenne, paprika, as well as seasoned salt, take a pan and a good amount of peanut oil (peanut oil fries at a higher temp and wont make your chicken nasty if you can use peanut vegetable oil will work as well) take the chicken from the buttermilk bath and place it then roll it around in the flour get it all coated! now to see if your oil is warm enough take a pinch of flour throw it in the oil if it looks like its frying the flour its ready. place the chicken in slowly and cooked it until golden brown. make sure the chicken is at a safe temperature for chicken 165 degrees is perfect take a bun and any condiments you like and enjoy! this is a very easy and delicious recipe! i am thinking about what kind of dishes i really wanna do i think i might do baked ziti! with a homemade-ish vodka sauce (no you wont get drunk from the sauce) i found this recipe online i will link it at the end of this blog post. vodka sauce is a smooth and creamy sauce. i will also make garlic bread this garlic bread is very simple to make all you do it mix butter and minced garlic together and spread that on the loaf i would also add a little bit of garlic salt or garlic powder. now the thing i mean when i say i want to make more complex dishes is i mean i want to use less store bought things that make cooking easier as an example say i want to make spaghetti and i use a jar of sauce instead of that i want to make my own sauce i would love to do my own noodles but i don't have the equipment for that. i will make sure to take pictures and upload them on this!
